Felix Perumal founded Vigilant Security and Investigation Services in 1973, establishing it as a leading provider of security solutions. Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, he served as an Inspector in the Sri Lanka Police for 19 years, gaining invaluable experience in law enforcement and investigation techniques.

His contributions to the industry are widely recognized. Felix Perumal is a member of the World Association of Detectives (WAD), a prestigious global organization. He is also a Fellow of the Industrial Security Foundation (FISF) in Sri Lanka, reflecting his deep commitment to promoting best practices in the field of industrial security.

Furthermore, Felix Perumal played a pivotal role as a founder member and Past President of the Sri Lanka Security Service Providers Association (SLASSPA), a leading professional association in the security industry. His leadership and dedication have helped shape the industry and foster collaboration among security service providers in Sri Lanka.

Managing Director – Mario Perumal

Mario Perumal, the Managing Director of the International Investigators Network (IIN), brings extensive experience and expertise to our organization. With a career spanning nearly 30 years, Mario has successfully managed cases for Vigilant Security and IIN, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

As a Certified International Investigator and a member of the Council of International Investigators (CII) since 2014, Mario is dedicated to maintaining professional excellence and staying up-to-date with the latest industry practices. He is also a member of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) APAC Chapter, where he actively contributes as a Leadership Team Member.

Mario holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, Sri Jayewardenapura University, and a BSc in Business and Economics from Eastern Connecticut State University, USA. His educational background, combined with his years of experience, equips him with a strong foundation in business management and investigation techniques.

Throughout his career, Mario has demonstrated a deep understanding of client requirements and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. He plays a vital role in assessing client needs and overseeing the seamless delivery of our services.

Mario’s involvement in professional associations, such as the CII and PBSA, showcases his dedication to upholding industry standards and staying at the forefront of advancements in the field. Manager Investigations – Keerthi Karunasinghe

KeerthiKarunasinghe, the Manager of Investigation at the International Investigators Network (IIN), brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. With a distinguished career spanning 34 years, Keerthi has served in various high-ranking positions in law enforcement and intelligence.

Formerly an Assistant Superintendent of Police, Keerthi served in the State Intelligence Service for 15 years, gaining invaluable experience in intelligence gathering, analysis, and operations. His deep understanding of intelligence work allows him to bring a unique perspective to investigations conducted by IIN.

Keerthi’s expertise extends beyond national boundaries, as he served as a UN Police Advisor in the UN Mission to Sudan and South Sudan. This international experience further enhances his understanding of global security dynamics and investigative techniques.

Keerthi holds a Bachelor’s degree from Sri Jayawardenepura University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Security Studies from Bradford University, UK. His educational background, combined with his extensive practical experience, equips him with a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of security and investigations.

With Keerthi’s leadership and guidance, the investigation team at IIN is well-equipped to handle complex cases and provide effective solutions for our clients. Our investigation team in Sri Lanka consists of highly experienced former Sri Lanka Police, National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) or Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Officers. They bring their expertise and knowledge to every case we handle. Additionally, we have access to a pool of distinguished former officers who are called upon to lead special investigations when required. Our coverage extends to the entire region of Sri Lanka, ensuring that we can efficiently handle cases across the country.
